ABOUT STEPHANIE

From the humid London air to the windy New York weather, Stephanie, La Brosse’s founder, knows quite a bit about the havoc that various climates can wreak on hair - especially on her own unruly hair. Born to a Moroccan mother and an French – Italian father, beauty and style was always evolving but one thing always remained constant – the pursuit of great hair.

Before starting La Brosse, Stephanie worked many years in both the London and New York finance industry. Working and living on four different continents has allowed her to see the best, and worst, of blowdries from blowdry bars around the world. Since getting her first blowdry at 14, Stephanie became an expert in knowing as soon as someone put a brush in her hair whether it was going to be a good experience or not.

From her experience grew her passion which led her to open La Brosse Dry Bar in 2021. She wanted to create a distinguished experience for other women who share in her struggle, including her young, curly-haired daughter. To achieve this, Stephanie spent months trying and testing products to ensure that only the best formulas are used at La Brosse. Stephanie personally tests and approves each product used by her stylists.

Outside of La Brosse, Stephanie is a devoted mother of two and is deeply involved in her community, she is a volunteer firefighter and treasurer at Round Hill Volunteer Fire Company, where she received the District Chief Award in 2018.
